Prudence E. Williams was born 1824 in Cooper Co. Missouri.  She married John Cole Woolery April 09, 1840 in Cooper CO., MO, son of Henry Woolery and Nancy Corum.  He was born 1820 in Cooper Co., MO.

From Leota Crider of Chaffee, Mo.:

Lawrence Woolery was born in Germany in 1739 and came to Madison County, Kentucky, where he and his wife Peggy Horn Woolery had fourteen children.  He died April 9, 1839 at Pilot Grove, Mo.  His wife also died at Pilot Grove, Mo. and lived to be ninety six years of age.  They are believed to be buried in the Mt. Nebo, cemetery.

 

Henry Woolery, their sixth son, was born in Madison County Kentucky in 1787.  He married Nancy Corum Feb. 25, 1810 in Madison County.  He died Mar 17, 1843 in Cooper Co. Mo.  Nancy died Sep 27 1843 in Cooper Co. at the age of 56 years.

 

They had nine children.

 

John C. Woolery, their sixth child was born in Cooper Co. Mo. in 1820.  He married Prudence E Williams April 9, 1840 in Cooper Co. Mo.  She was born in Cooper Co. in 1824.  They had six children all born in Cooper County, Missouri:
